Hi:) My name is Bailey Dewsnap aka Catgirltampa.Art

Im 24 years old, originally from Cornwall, New york and moved to Tampa, Florida when I was 20. Art has always been something really important to me watching how much my mom and sister have loved it throughout my life, i have found so much love for it too.

Growing up there was always a project my mom was doing on the counter or around the house. Shes was always sitting at the kitchen counter creating something beautiful and I always looked up to her for it. So, thank you mom for being so creative you inspire me to be the best me everyday<3

I didnt really have an art style of my own for the longest time until about 2 years ago. I picked up a sketch book at 5 below and some pens. Didn't touch it for a couple months and then one day at the beach I picked it up and started drawing in a way I never have before. I kind of draw in like a cat scratch way, my hand moves faster then my mind can think and then a bunch of scribbles make something really beautiful. To me, anyways.

After that I started using drawing as an escape whenever I needed it. I can't really write my feelings down so I started drawing them out. I have a lot of them so drawing/ painting helps me whenever I need an outlet. My style has changed a lot over the years and I finally feel confident enough to share it with everyone else so maybe other people can have it in their homes and enjoy looking at it like I do. A lot of these I've made over the past 2 years and every single one of them has to do with a time in my life, no matter if it's connected to a person, place or feeling. Or whether I was sad, happy or angry when i drew it. They all mean something to me so i hope maybe it could mean something to someone else too<3
